TBH, I don't find the scenario that big a deal. The fact that companies change staff and marketing personnel means this type of thing can easily be overlooked. The cheap route was initiated by the person who set up the website in early 2022 (whose services are no longer engaged)... and, from there "no checks and balances", I admit. But, hey, I'm a part-owner of the company who still gives two hoots... so just doing my bit.
