Yeah gold has tested where the down sloping trend line meets the upsloping trend line at the 1900 area.
Gold was "bankstered" overnight with the positive Democrat news but it also was heavily overbought on stochs and needed to consolidate anyway.
US gold stocks sold off initially then recovered into the close to be around unchanged.
$AUD gold at $2457 which is a big drop from last night so it may well have a negative bearing at the open here and depending how the day unfolds in regards to gold price interference, well we'll just have to wait and see.
1914.365 is near term support for gold.
