Any trader would be extremely lucky to pick the absolute bottom or top of any market. On balance the chance of the gold price increasing is extremely high which will be in response to higher USA inflation IMO
I watched the independent news analysis by DFA last night on reserve banks and our gold reserves, DFA "senators defy the high priesthood of finance".
I recall that in the 1980-90's the reserve banks around the world sold a lot of their gold reserves as they were no longer relevant, It seems we not only sold a lot of our reserves but leased our holding to the Bank of England as well, the reporters speculated that maybe the Bank of England has leased our gold to another sovereign bank. Makes you wonder if there is infact the amount of physical gold reserves we think there is in reserve or has it been treated like bonds, the one bond sold multiple times and when they are called the house of cards falls down.
