I remember a time pre GFC in the early 2000's where I lived in Melbourne but then moved to Brisbane to join the mining boom. I was a draftsman at the time, and had previously worked in South Australia in the Mining sector. I noticed that all the engineers were leaving the commercial sector and moving into jobs where the big money was - in Mining. I ended up joining them and just before the GFC hit I was being leased out at huge money. A lot of that was due to Alcoa making a 2.2 Billion $AUD Aluminum mine in the Northern Territory with a timeline of 20 months and 20 days.
This US Infrastructure bill of 2 Trillion$ is massive. I'm not sure how it is going to pan out but I want my share of the 2 Trillion!
1000 times more than the Alcoa project! Personally I am looking to start an business based on AI soon.
