Most only look at the share price that is why they are swept in the negative sentiment. Worse are those that look at the SP and Gold price. Those are really the ones that gets thrown under the bus by their sentiment in times like this. Earnings and Revenue are better gauge in assessing how well a gold miner is doing.
I bought the majority of my EVN holdings in 2015 and already hold Catalpa and Conquest prior to that. Anyone that's held for that long should recognise how well this company have been run over the years. Even the recent hiccup last FY have not really dented earning and revenue much.
I've been adding to my EVN slowly since $2.24, yesterday I backed up the truck. Tell you what, if it gets any cheaper from here. I will be more than happy to free carry my FMG, BHP, S32 etc holdings and rotate it to EVN.
