EVN is in GDXJ, with Yamana being taken out by PAAS and AEM, I wonder if they increase the weighting of EVN. Of course ETF participation is a double edged sword..on the way up helps torque higher..on the way down when they disgorge, not so great--but big down moves do let you get some good pricing to build positions. I think where sentiment in Au was so bad, the etf amplifies the downdrafts and maybe that is some of the pain in EVN. EVN does seem to have more umph going up in this move in AU.
