Looks like gold is on its way back up after a brief sell off during Chinese holidays and confirmation rates will stay where they are for now and maybe even increase after the US election...
"Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell discussed the central bank’s decision to hold interest rates steady as inflation remains stubbornly high, during a press conference Wednesday after the Fed’s latest policy meeting. Powell said he expects inflation to fall this year, but he doesn’t have enough confidence that it is moving sustainably to the central bank’s 2% target to consider rate cuts now."
