You need to overlay the amount of T-Bills held by China expiring on a time basis before you can make any worthwhile projections. China is taking the maturity from their Treasuries and buying gold rather than reinvesting in US dollars. There is a noticeable uptick in Chinese gold purchases after Trump became president and started trade restrictions. Since then we have been seeing tit-for-tat actions between China and the Western economies, that do indeed seem to be escalating. We seem to be witnessing a world in transition and instability is increasing. Who knows where it will end but God does and his Word gives us answers and hope.
