EVN may well go back above $4.44 short-term. In terms of the long-term picture (my weekly chart view), I think EVN's ability to hold the 20 day simple moving average will give the best indicator of strength (strength of current ST bull run from $3.04).
The two other big ASX gold stocks (NCM & NST) have also shown a bit of caution over the last two weeks. To be expected after they have run so hard.
In the end, the longer-term trends tend to out-way the short-term stuff.
