The $6.45 was the all time closing high. Think that the intra day high is around $6.585 from memory.
Seems to me a case of switching from gold to cyclicals with the current market euphoria.
Hopefully not too long before we see a switch back to Aussie gold.
Sell off well and truly overdone IMHO.
