the price rise (too much) of the big miners NST and EVN show us the price of gold is likely going up in the short term
the fall in the miners share price was too little for the huge pog fall on vaccine day; that also foretold the rise today
Mr Market, in my opinion, thinks the POG will get back to where it was for many months... low to mid 1900s USD and mid 2600 AUD; and that will be a BASE and it will go up from there
I think the lockdowns will really hurt the overall market, but govts are going to print like crazy... they are even talking re USA having a full 6 week PAID holiday for everybody in the USA.... that is a LOT of money; and I think all western countries will do this (not Australia... we dodged a bullet... again.... lucky... again); it just depends on WHEN Mr Market thinks all this money will over compensate for the deflation the lockdowns will give
