Concerning ST sentiment, one major factor bringing me back here almost every year is Au's period of seasonal strength. NOW. The strength starts in late July and lasts until late September, pauses, and resumes in October lasting until late December/early January.
I may take profit in that pause and/or buy the next goldie on my list. However, I first must have a cuppa washing down some white meat so I can compare how the tea leaves match up against the chicken guts.

PS Of course I'll wear my lucky shirt to toss my lucky coin.
PPS Being after market close on Friday explains much of the above... Now where's that lucky coin?
