The original AISC of the mine before EVN took over is inflated because the mine was inactive for 3 months, I believe.
I don't think there will be a vaccine for COVID. There isn't one for the cold and they've been trying for decades.
The price of gold is not really being driven by the virus. It was already over $1600 before it hit. The driver is tension with China. Uncertainty is what pushes gold up. The virus is a factor though.
