Nominal A$ spot gold price record, overnight.
The longer gold prices remain elevated, the more likely analysts are to lift revenue estimates for gold companies, which they haven’t done in the past few months.
Meanwhile, miners are likely to see more moderate costs going forward, helping to ease the pressure on margins.
