My understanding from reading the materials is that the FGF-5 inhibitors start to work nearly straight away so hair loss is reduced and hair thickening commences quickly, it is then a question of how long before it is significant and noticeable to the user.
WRT Rogaine, we know that the hair falls out as soon as one stops using it.
The question therefore is, on balance, would the FGF-5 inhibitors prevent the rogaine induced hair growth from falling out and would someone who changes over experience a hair loss? A good question that I cannot answer but on intuition, I would have thought that one could at least expect less hair loss than would result from stopping to use Rogaine on its own.
