Many people are locked up in asylums because they claim they hear voices.

I am not a psychiatrist, so I can't say when a delusion warrants solitary confinement.

There arent many asylums these days, they try to keep people in the community and use medication to alleviate or control symptoms. People werent necessarily locked up for hearing voices in there heads but because that was a symptom of mental illness.

I am not a psychiatrist and you dont need to be to decide if some one should be confined. You restrict some ones freedom when they are a threat to them selves or others.

God beliefs arent fantasies, even in this day and age you can be imprisoned in plenty of countries for saying such things. Try telling a Judge in an American court room when you are asked to swear on a bible its all fantasy.
