Whereu, the young earth theory clashes with the simple but profound statement:(Genesis 1:1) In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
So too does the idea that God kick started life & from there evolution result in one life from developing into the myriad of different life forms that have existed since then.
(Genesis 1:21) And God created the great sea creatures and all living creatures that move and swarm in the waters according to their kinds and every winged flying creature according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.

What I was pointing out was that even the bible doesn't support a young earth creation.

In my opinion, Genesis 1:21 doesn't give sufficient information on how God went about creation to be sure.
