Atheism is not a religion. Atheism is the natural and free state into which every human is born. Then the external influences of thousands of years of refined religious dogma and conditioning are brought to bear upon their young minds, and their ability to reason and apply critical thinking is impaired and in many cases destroyed for the rest of their lives. They become unable to think rationally with minds free of superstition and religious mental pollution. Religious indoctrination = a process of mental disintegration. Nothing less than child abuse and the deliberate inculcation of mental illness into our young.

Ok, that excludes me. My father is an atheist. My mother was a closet Catholic, that only brought out rosary beads after I started to talk to them about what I was learning from the Bible. It was like I had stirred up a hornets nest, not unlike some of the discussions here on HC. No time to talk now.
