Sorry DBT9, It doesn't matter what the article says. The fact is The RNA enzymes are not replicating themselves but each other. At best it is cross replication. It only proceeds indefinitely if it is provided the "sub units" What are the "sub units" From the article"The subunits in the enzymes the team constructed each contain many nucleotides, so they are relatively complex and not something that would have been found floating in the primordial ooze." Nor is anyone claiming to know precisely how life got started, just that researchers are exploring possibilities. That it's a work in progress . DBT9, You are the one who has precisely stated that"Life began with strands of self replicating RNA." DBT9 Life comes from life. The article states that RNA is not alive.

It is not just I who says it. It's just the likely path of evolution; "The RNA world hypothesis suggests that life on Earth began with a simple RNA molecule that could copy itself. The RNA world hypothesis suggests that life on Earth began with a simple RNA molecule that could copy itself without help from other molecules. DNA, RNA, and proteins are central to life on Earth." https://www.khanacademy.org/science/ap-biology/natural-selection/origins-of-life-on-earth/a/rna-world#:~:text=The%20RNA%20world%20hypothesis%20suggests,central%20to%20life%20on%20Earth. What are you arguing for? God? Special creation?
