Last Friday, the new percentages of GDXJ holdings to be rebalanced on December 18 (U.S. time) were made public to hedge funds etc. (?New data not shown on Van Eck's website.) I hear (sorry, cannot link) that on the cut-off date of November 30, Endeavour (EDV/EVR) was 1.09% of GDXJ but will have to be 1.46% of GDXJ by the end of the 18th (U.S. time) to reflect the new weighting. To achieve this, Van Eck/GDXJ will have to buy about 700,000 shares within this week.
