Yes you are in a small wealthy part. AU was a very late adopter of EVs so they are now see rapid expansion especially in the cities as you pointed out. This was same as US a few years ago. Evey one took this rapid expansion and just straight lined it forward and now those predictions are failing as we have both pointed out. Any economics course will teach you it is easy for any entry business to grow from 0 to 15% Market share To grow from 15% to 30% is many times more difficult and we are seeing that in the EV market today. This will be accelerated as governments go from subsidizing EVS with rebates to making them pay their fair share of the road tax now covered entirely by Petrol.
