this article does not say EV sales are contracting. In fact they are still growing. What they are doing is growing much slower than the estimates of only a year ago. The original surge that any new idea sees has gone just like it does for anything. Watch AI going forward. Unfortunately this rapid fall in expectations is going to be very bad for Lynas SP. Using Revenue Earnings & book value Lynas is still way overpriced. This will be clear when SAR comes out in less than 2 weeks. REE prices are Low and I see nothing that is going to cause them to rise to where Lynas needs them, about 800 RMB/KG with vat. This means no mater how much volume they make the Q3, Q4 and AR will just continue this downward trend. YOY numbers will be bad for next 2 Qs and probably longer.
I still believe the future is bright for EVs.. and sometime in the future EVs will make up almost all the market. It is just farther away than most on this board think.
