Twiggy has a passion but the capacity that is required won't be achieved without government policy and funding. The private sector in Oz is cautious when the government sets energy price ceilings ,hence they will demand the government heavily subsidise the renewable infrastructure costs. I don't know about OS, but the amount of renewable infrastructure targets the government is setting is not being picked up by the private sector. Twiggy may have to kick the tin heavily himself, because the consumer can't afford higher energy costs, nor has the country got the funds to subsidise the infrastructure they wish for. If Twiggy was in charge of the renewable sector he would be able to make a difference himself for sure. But he's in the private sector himself where talk what everyone else should do is cheap. Just hope with Twiggys philanthropic ways he can lead by example. Thanks anyhow for the link Qoka.
