I envy other countries with the forward thinking of UK and the Europeans, albeit China is puuting a rocket up everybody with E V production costs. Meanwhile, we have a government who has failed to control inflation and left the heavy ligting to our reserve bank and we have deepening problems. So we have Chris Bowen announce an unachievable 82pc renewable target by 2030 whe. It has taken us years and years to get to 34pc when we had far more wealth. I'm all for renewables to deliver power affordable to get our manufacturing back and even produce EV as the UK is looking at but Australia has lost nearly all its manufacturing industry. Mining is all we have now and it appears we will be paying for our electricity, forget EVs, via our electrivity bills and taxation. The same underwriting by the government is on our tollways and we have the No 1 most expensive tolls worldwide and the Federal government is realistically doing the same thing underwriting renewable companies to install battery farms and wind farms.
