if ever there was an admission of defeat it's this. And, it's hard not to notice how readily the US breaks its all important rules based international order at will to suit itself. The US industry has pretty much been (ahem) asleep at the wheel not to notice what was happening.

let's hope the Australian govt doesn't follow suite, even though we haven't had a domestic car industry since then PM Tony (the wrecker) Abbott showed the last of the manufacturers the exit door about 10 years ago.
