I've seen enough lives destroyed by car accidents which can happen so so easily. And it doesn't take much to change the way one lives at all.
For me - car safety is a big big deal.
We lose sight of how bloody dangerous metal boxes hurtling along the road are with us inside of them and how vulnerable we are to being injured.
If you value your and your families lives and you can afford the cost -- go for 5 star. If money is really no problemo -- go for the best IMO. You might spend some bucks - maybe on something like a Hyundai Genesis SUV or similar - BUT if it saves you an accident that puts you out of work - which is dreadfully easy to have - then your economics savings go out the window and life changes dramatically
it's not a scare thing - it's in fact, common sense
