    It's not just the price of the new vehicle, it's the impracticability, the considerable drop in resale value and the fact that EV's are improving at a near exponential rate - essentially rendering your new purchase 'old tech' within a matter of years.

    Introducing policies to force consumers into the EV market is simply insane. Even from a carbon footprint POV - do we presume these EV's are manufactured from thin air? It would be far more beneficial to the environment if I ran my car to the ground instead of cycling through new vehicles every 3-5 years.
