I'd go that as a possible for an interim -------- I also think that if there was anything at all to the Lockheed Martin compact fusion power plant concept then, for bigger things like ships - perhaps planes - maybe trucks (but, they might go EV) -- then, I would think that if compact fusion could be done at the price - then, it would be all over red rover and you wouldn't see a hydrogen powered large transport for dust all of us have to realise that we are in the real baby steps of a transport revolution here ------EV's ie. cars -might be an evolution - but, as an industry - we are in the early stages of a revolution -- it's far more likely to be like movies ------------- reel to reel, beta, vhs, dvd, now all downloaded via the net this is really really really early days -------what's clear?? 1. what's clear is that fossil is a goner ----------- 2. what's also clear is that plug in EV's are a definite - for at least a while my guess is that we'll probably stick with EV's in cars/bikes etc - we might not own them, they might not have Lithium for a battery, they - one day will NOT be plug in - they will be 'park on' but, EV?? -- I suggest that they will be here for quite a while ----------- trucks too -------------- up to how big and what section of the industry???????

I think for trucks trains,planes and ships Hydrogen is looking good but I think your right with EV cars and bikes ,the coming driver-less cars will make car ownership a thing of the past because of economics.
