Agree with all above thoughts. Also agree that OMNIS is a critical sector.
I will just raise one thing though. They are not the only ones in the water space. I am aware of at least 1 other company , SDV, a chemical company with the ability to eliminate up to 99.9% of PFAS chemicals in contaminated areas but it too has been trying hard for the sewage space since it swallowed a small unlited company , Haldon , in about April/May last year. SDV was focused on the large scale industrial stuff but...the CEO had family/health issues and left earlier this year. That left the company in control of the 2 previous guys of Haldon..and THEY are focussed on water.
In the environmental monitoring space EVS now has a potential competitor but not completely on top of this.
Basically BID , the old Bill Identity Ltd, that was focussed on verifying companies metre readings for gas/electricity,/ water etc has also undergone transition with a new CEO. The bill monitoring was spectacularly unsuccesful, especially in U.S.A. Michelle Garra, the new CEO has redirected the intelligent software they run to monitor carbon footprint (I think). She has changed the name of BID to Optima which was BID's company in U.K. Europe.
Am not sure exactly what they monitor or who they report to but supposedly this Michelle Garra CEO is a 'superstar' CEO well credentialed.
Neither SDV nor the old BID may ever amount to much and possibly they are not direct threats but I am highlighting that EVS may not be the sole player in these fields.
