It's interesting. Volvo have a locked in clientele. I have some reasonably wealthy Jewish friends who won't drive anything but Volvo - they still remember WWII and so won't buy bmw, merc or any other cars manufactured by axis powers.
So if they want European quality, Volvo is it for them.
