Where are all the EV enthusiasts defending their range anxiety - for a 255 mile round trip, the Tesla model Y needed a 20-25 minute charge stop as from over 90% full charge down to 3% the vehicle only achieved a tad under 180 miles - and that was with some driving downhill boost. Ouch. What a joke. Yet I believe the maker claims higher achievable miles - apparently rather optimistic as somewhat different to reality. A far cry from what range is available for an ICE vehicle from a full tank.
Enjoy your EV with the bonus. Mustn't be that bad I guess - she's still smiling. I'm smiling too, being range anxiety free. The guy is even thinking of foregoing roof racks, just to extract an extra mile or two. I don't have that issue, as don't have roof racks but would hit the roof if I only managed that kind of mileage out of a new expensive vehicle purchase.
