Your average service station canopy is about 25 square meters per pump. That is enough for just over 5kW of solar panels, or 35kWh per day in populated areas of this wide brown land in Summer (and maybe only 10kWh in Winter). You ain't going to solar charge your EV at a converted petrol station unless you want to leave it there for up to a week.
