it really doesn't matter what we think of EVs.... if ICE vehicles were introduced today, with the knowledge we now have of pollution, its dubious if ICE cars would be allowed to be sold.
EVs are a necessary change from ICE. there'll be more tech advances to come and lithium won't always be the chemistry of choice for EV energy storage.
whingeing about EVs won't change anything.... far better use of time to understand why we are universally replacing ICE with EV.
