I'm a long term holder of EVT. I love their shareholder benefits and I stay at Rydges fairly regularly. I never used to notice many Chines tourists staying there, but have noticed more and more of late. With the increased predictions of Chinese tourism I can only see the occupancy rates increasing. I also stay at Mantra and am a shareholder there as well. I much prefer the properties that EVT have over those of mantra.
So with increased tourism and increased occupancy rates I can only see positives for EVT at this stage. They also seem to be slowly increasing the properties they hold, so I can only see upside. The reporting season will tell all.
