James, I used to own this one back when Higgo was at the helm.

A long time ago now but as I recall, he completely f'd up the BFS. I am not a mining guy but it is my understanding he gave the wrong instruction to the consultants working on the BFS. The instructions were so poor the results came back uneconomical and we're talking an open cut mine at 2010 prices that only required 10km of rail to get to the the Eskom plant (facts might be a little off, it was some time ago)

Had to completely re-do the study and that isn't cheap. He inevitably got the boot. Having said that, Garth wasn't the biggest problem with this one... It was a greedy little South African fella name Tim Tebeila. He used Glenn Rosewall's (BBY) cash to buy a private jet and fleet of luxury cars... Well played Tim
