ex date and operational report

I calculate that the Ex Date for the Shareholder Share Plan offering a 10% will be this Friday 17 October 2003.

The closing date for the Shareholder SHare Purchase Plan has been set for 7 November 2003 and the price of the discounted shares will be known by 27 October 2003.

Also, I expect PNA to release its latest Operational Report on 17 October in which they will detail a resource estimate for the Phu Bia Gold Project based on geostatistical methods at a higher cut-off than the 2002 manual estimate.
