ex date free ops and bonus and asx ann timing

vwap up by 1.4 c today tp 5.6c,
volume just went through the 200m volume,
sp up 15.22% (.007 c)
a good solid growth day with under 2 hours before close.
asx 200 down 142 points
thin to steady trading for last 2 hours price in the 5. to 5.4c range most of that time.
will be interesting to see next wave of buying and the close today.
It's another impressive group of data being recorded. It will be interesting to see how much time might be in the ex date for the bonus shares and free options.
I have seen very short window of opportunity with other stocks and because of the strength in the growth and the pending news, it could be a short day or two before going ex or another philosophy might be to leave say a two week period between the gen' meeting and ex date announcement and the release of the gold sample and iron ore news if the results are "good to outstanding", i.e. a longer period before going ex will allow increased value to shareholders in market capitalisation and price growth to be reflected in the share trading and holding to secure before the ex.
