SNN will go ex div on the 13th of January meaning you have to be holding by 12th of January, payments will go out on 2nd of February.

This may work but its a fine balancing act, I will receive a Div for approx $7700, so personally for me I can't see the sense in trying to time the dip.....either way the reward is there for me, holding is a safer option because I get a return without risking my low average entry price of 16c

Yep, I'll be taking some profit at 30c when it gets to that level.
After that I'm not sure what I'll do......but I will hold a parcel long term because I think they have great potential.
Keep in mind that SNN will be promoting themselves to the broking community in February, so this could push the stock along nicely straight after Div's are paid.
