I am playing both sides of the ex divvy date.
Was in the opening queue last Friday and bought at 17.16 I think for a trading parcel, meaning these owe us 15.95 allowing for the 1.21 divvy.
Am in the opening queue again this morning with an opportunistic bid given US markets had a solid down Friday and don’t trade again till tomorrow given it is Labor Day holiday over there.
Sept will likely be an ugly month with shares as the US Fed drops another 0.75% rates bomb 21/9, but I feel Oct and Nov rate rises will be back to 0.5% each, which should be seen as a market positive and the Fed may even hold rates steady for their 13/12 rates announcement, in time for a Christmas market rally.
We’ll be buying more if this weakness continues.
