Could you please share your thought on why you don't buy the US collapse theory?
My simple thoughts: Regardless of the fact that the USD is constantly being debased via the Fed's mass printing, it continued to enjoy the support from those who seek 'safe haven'. So every time 'investors' are fearful and they hide themselves under the 'safety' of the USD they push the USD up and everything else down. This in turn make commodities, oil, etc look attractive to the biggest holder of the USD (China). When things look attractively priced China will scoop up some bargains and prices will go up again and the cycle repeats.
Unlike Greece, the US will continue to be able to sell USD debts because it is still THE reserved currency, the 'safe haven' where people run to.
