Reasonably good result down 37c today. Dependent on the Dow there should be a little more movement. The prob is the Dow Is not too reliable. Qbe is a defensive and has lost 23% from it's highs of 23 in feb. Regardless it is cheap and it is a matter of time before it moves beyond the 17.50 mark. Flight center had a profit of approx 150 million and it is pushing 19. Qbe gets a profit of 440 million and it gets punished. There are lots of mergers going on and don't be surprise that qbe will merge with another enity to improve and grow it's margins in a difficult business environment at present. Let's say that 16.83 will be a great opportunity that may slip away very soon from the indecisive. Good luck to all. Enjoy the divs.
