Doesn't matter about ex-date for me, its a long term hold. At current SP its a nice 10% return, where you going to get that in other investment? FMG's dividend is expected to increase each year based on previous year's performance and under Forrest's leadership. I'm accumulating. And the franking credit system gives it another benefits to hold.
I view it as one of the better blue chips to hold long term, and overtime this small hiccups isn't going to matter.
