There appears to be some confusion about this. The first page of the announcement on the 14th said the shares will commence trading on an ex basis on the 17th. The prospectus stated differently that the ex date was the 16th.

The ASX screen currently lists UTO as xe as does my commsec screen. I would not be certain that buying today guarantees entitlement as there are mixed messages in the announcement and according to the ASX UTO will trade today ex-entitlement. If anyone is concerned a phone call would probably enable you to find out for sure. I bought a few days before the oppies announcement and will hold longer term anyway so I am not concerned but for others it may be an issue.
