Ex entitlement to attached options

Hi I have serious questions about your last post and I quote

".why pay $1.20c. per OPTION (in 6 months time?) when you can (probably) buy the same SHARE for around 90c. after today's close."

The options can be exercised for $1.20 at any time up until the close of trading 6 April 2024 that's a little over 24 months from now. Why would anyone in their right mind exercise them in 6 months time. You can't buy these options they are not tradeable. To get the options you need to be holding shares on the record date (16 March) and then take up the 1/12 RTS at 0.90. Then you will receive 1 Option for every 2 RTS you take up. For those options that a long time free ride before option holders have a decision to make.


I suspect you have every little idea of what this RTS and options prospectus is about and how to take advantage of it.

I suspect your logic is flawed.

I too believe that the share plus 0.5 option package is a good deal IF:
1. The share price remains close to or above 90 cents during the Entitlement period, and
2. You believe the share price will move above $1 20 during the 2 year timeframe until option expiry.

You have the OPTION to exercise, but are not forced to. The 0.5 option cost you nothing, but provides upside to your overall investment return.
