A full takeover makes sense for everyone (perhaps unless for the anointed few).
Pear - your arguments make no sense at all to me. This situation is precisely what suspensions were created for. Multi-parties, multiple-jurisdictions PLUS potentially unknown outcome (even for the company at this stage).
Sounds to me like you're a short term trader. Fine. But if you know the rules (or ought to) and get caught up in a trading halt/suspension the ASX and most other punters aren't going to give a rat's. And nor should they.
It's not difficult to envisage how info COULD slip into some but not all parts of the market in current circumstances, thus making it the whole market unequal and therefore uninformed.
Pretty straight forward and logical.
