I find the earn-out arrangments are the tricky part of its kind. it also remind me about Photon...
I bought my first lot of SGN in Sep 2007 with a $2+ price tag. I fully understand Rainmaker's pain when the capital raising was priced at 48c. But we can't go back and make the decision ever again, bearing in mind st the time of capital raising SGN was very very close to break the covenant and no need to mention GFC. How many of the blue chips raised capital at the price lest than half of the curent sp? to name a few, CBA MQG RIO (can't believe they are doing share buy-back now)
with an avg 8% profit growth (middle of 5-10%) and 12x PE, it is easy to come out a $1.50 price target for SGN.
