holding rates steady in the US was not bullish for our markets as this was anticipated.
However the statement re maybe future increases didnt help things.
Todays anncmt. re apache deal was already well known but I think it brought to the attention of everyone just how much it cost roc.
Some would say just too much...covered by 100% loan from CBA for 12 mths.
Even though most co's were down today,it appears the market certainly didnt like the anncmt.
sp looks like drifting down still,be interesting to see if $4 holds.
China results might give a boost but from memory,I think we have to wait for a few weeks.
Doesnt appear to be much happening in the meantime unless I've missed something in the anncmts.
Is now well down from its high,would not look good if poo heads south .
