A CONFIDENTIAL report has revealed that Nexus Energy was the subject of several bids beside the offer made by the Kerry Stokes-controlled Seven Group Holdings.

Apparently, Inpex made a binding offer on 14th February, the same day that Seven upped their bid to 5.7 cents. What an amazing coincidence! Who leaked this to SGH? Why did the board not reveal this binding offer. Why did Lonergan and Edwards, in their Independent Expert (and I use this word very loosely) Report, only selectively reveal bids made for the assets?
This should make for some interesting court arguments on 16th December.
