Thought someone would ask that. The answer is no. The pro drug is like a boat that carries the active Relenza drug across the river which it can't cross by itself. Once on the other side enzymes in the body strip "the boat" off the active molecule where it can then go off in the blood stream and do it's work. It's still the same resistance proof zanamivir molecule that you inhale. It's just gotten into the body through the stomach, via the pro-drug.
