The headlines was that NPAT and EPS crunched 56% to $111m and 38c. But if you add back the non-cash items (one-off write down). EPS actually rose 31% to $1.12 with the payout ratio only 54%. No wonder why they can afford a 60c divident on this first half. With 37.5b of work in the pipeline and a strong finance position, there is no reasons WHY they can not maintain the final divident for 09 at 85c.
